Why does Perth Pollen feature grass pollen so heavily?
We focus on grass pollen because it is the main outdoor allergy trigger. Grass pollen triggers most of the hay fever from October to December and is also responsible for seasonal increase in asthma. Parts of Australia can experience outbreaks of thunderstorm asthma, a phenomenon also associated with high grass pollen levels.
